Growing up I had a large chip on my shoulder.

I wanted to be the best.

This led me to obsess over winning.

First, I became a professional basketball player.

Then, I built a successful online business.

Hard work. Sacrifice. Discipline.

All very important skills. And I’m grateful I had the opportunity to learn them.

But you know what I find equally important?

Alignment.

Freedom.

Living your life exactly the way you want to... on your own terms.

I believe your business should not only serve others. It should also serve you.

I don’t believe in sacrificing your health, your family, your relationships to make more money.

Is there a time and place for hustle and hard work?

Certainly.

But if it’s not aligned with your personal values, in my experience, you’re running fast in the wrong direction.

Alignment is simply knowing what you want. What you value. And following that.

I believe in Creative Freedom:

Sitting at my laptop. In a coffee shop. After drinking far too many espressos. And simply allowing what wants to come through... without playing towards some algorithm that wants me to dance like a circus bear on reels.

I believe in Financial Freedom:

Having the means to do whatever you want to do, whenever you want to do it.

I believe in making a lot of money, in a way that feels good and helps others.

I believe in Location Freedom:

You learn more from traveling the world than from any book or degree.

I believe in Time Freedom:

If I want to work, I work. If I want to rest, I rest. All without the guilt of feeling like I should be doing something else other than what I’m doing.

I believe your office is wherever you want it to be.

Like on the beach. At sunset.

I believe in Simplicity.

Your business does not have to be complicated to work. You don’t need another funnel. Or tripwire. Or a self-liquidating offer. You just need to create and distribute value as efficiently as possible.

I believe in building things that contribute positively to Human Evolution.

Overcome problems in your life. Then help others do the same. There is a natural intelligence to evolve in every living thing. When you help others, you are helping yourself.

I believe in Last Minute One Way Plane Tickets.

I believe in Healthy Home Cooked Meals.

I believe in Daily Movement and Exercise.

I believe Attention is Earned.

Wealth in the new generation will not flow to those who are the loudest. It will flow to those who understand value creation and the timeless principles of human evolution.

I believe Less is More.

The next level in business, and life, is almost never found in adding more. It’s found in removing the unnecessary to bring focus and clarity.

I believe in Providing Value. Not Controversy.

Catering to the algorithm to get views is a race to the bottom.

I believe in building Calm Businesses.

Frantic chaos creates a mess. Calm clarity creates coherence.

I believe Inner Peace is Priceless.

There is no amount of money that can replace this. Because it can’t be bought. But it can be shared… with your family, with your friends, with your loved ones, with your clients, with the world.

I believe in an Empty Calendar.

The over-scheduled life is simply not worth living.

I believe there is no "right" business model.

The only right method is the one that feels the most natural to you.

I believe love finds its most natural and spontaneous expression in giving.

I believe in the journey. Not the destination.

What looks like genius at the top of the mountain, looks like madness the whole way up.

I believe urgency culture is dead.

I believe hustle culture is dead.

I believe in delighting in your Weirdness.

You’re different. And that’s a good thing. Nobody can compete with you when you are being you. Be yourself, powerfully. And allow the world to align around that.

I believe business is a container for your personal evolution.

You don’t have business problems. You have personal problems expressing themself through your business.

I believe the more valuable you are to your business, the less valuable your business is.

Replace yourself with systems. Operate in your zone of genius. You don’t have to carry it all yourself.

I believe it’s okay to have no idea what you’re doing.

And that the people who claim they do are usually the most lost.

I believe the only way you fail is if you stop trying.

I believe in Never Missing a Sunset.
